Job Description: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Position: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Overview:
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for driving the bank’s overall revenue growth, developing high-impact sales strategies, and leading all business development initiatives. The CRO will oversee sales teams, manage key financial products, expand market reach, and create strong revenue-focused policies to support the bank’s long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement revenue-generation strategies across all banking products (MSME loans, retail loans, microfinance, deposits, insurance, etc.).
Lead and manage sales, marketing, and business development teams to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Identify new markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
Build strong relationships with key partners, corporate clients, and financial institutions.
Monitor performance of all revenue channels and optimize processes for higher productivity.
Analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities.
Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to align revenue strategies with organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and maintain transparent reporting.
Drive digital revenue initiatives including fintech partnerships and digital banking solutions.
Train and mentor sales leaders, branch managers, and regional teams.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
10–15 years of experience in banking, microfinance, NBFC, or financial services.
Proven track record of managing large teams and achieving strong revenue growth.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of financial products, lending processes, and risk management.
